‘Euphoria’ Season 3 has officially begun filming!

Finally! After what feels like an eternity, the long-awaited third season of Euphoria has officially kicked off production.

HBO confirmed the news by releasing a first-look photo showing Zendaya’s Rue gazing over her shoulder in a dimly lit room. It’s a simple yet powerful image that instantly reignites anticipation for what’s to come.

It’s been three years since Euphoria’s second season premiered. Several factors caused an unusual hiatus, including the busy schedules of showrunner Sam Levinson and the series’ in-demand cast. Since the show’s debut, its stars have skyrocketed to fame, making it quite the challenge to coordinate filming the hit television series.

Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Colman Domingo are returning for the eight-episode season. However, Storm Reid, who plays Rue’s younger sister, Gia, won’t return due to scheduling conflicts. A while back, Zendaya hinted that season 3 would feature a time jump, moving the characters and storyline beyond high school. So fans can expect some significant shifts in the show’s tone and themes.

As for a premiere date? HBO hasn’t announced one yet, but we can expect more updates soon, with production now underway.
