Crikey! Robert Irwin gets WILD in his Bonds!
I don’t think any of us had seeing Steve Irwin’s son smouldering in his jocks for Bonds on our 2025 bingo card, but here we are. Australia’s favourite wildlife warrior, Robert Irwin has officially stepped out of the khakis and into… well, significantly less fabric.
That’s right, the 20 year-old-crocodile whisperer has turned into a conservationist heartthrob with a full-blown underwear campaign for Bonds. And not the “I’m a wholesome boy-next-door in briefs” energy either. We’re talking blue steel, sculpted abs, tousled hair, and a gaze that says, “I just wrangled a python, and now I’m here to ruin your morning scroll.”

Is it a thirst trap? Absolutely. Is it for a good cause? Sort of. It’s for Bonds undies. Which, to be fair, has been keeping Aussie bums covered since before your mum discovered Facebook.
Now, before you clutch your pearls and yell, “But he’s just a baby!” Let’s remember, the baby’s grown up. Robert Irwin is a full adult now, with a jawline sharp enough to slice a mango and pecs that probably have their own conservation status. The man found time to hit the gym somewhere between saving wombats and giving earnest speeches about climate change, which definitely shows.
The ‘Made for Down Under’ campaign introduces Bonds to the US market, and let’s be honest, the Americans adored Steve Irwin, so it’s marketing brilliance using his son. Of course, the internet has lost its collective mind over the photos.
Here’s the thing. Robert doesn’t even look awkward, posing in just his underwear. If anything, he seems like he’s in his natural habitat. He’s serving confidence with a side of “let’s protect the koalas.” Honestly, Steve would be proud.
Robert Irwin in underwear is the unexpected Bonds rebrand we didn’t know we needed. Conservation, but make it sexy!
